“Do you have any last sentence to say?” The officer asked Myungsoo before the young man was executed.

 

Myungsoo fell into silent for a while. In a short time, there were many thing passed on his mind. He tried to choose his word to say.

“Maybe an apologize to the victim’s family?”

 

Myungsoo smiled meaningly to the officer’s wish word. “This is what I got for protecting Saehyun and my self.” He spook calmly.

Myungsoo didn’t want to regret anything more. He has got nothing wrong on his thought. He was doing what he thought the best choice that time.

He would thought it was the effort he did to protect someone he loves and also him self.

People would said he was selfish but he didn’t care.

The officers who presented only sighed to hear the last sentences.

“Is that all you want to say?” Myungsoo nodded and prepared him self.

 

He imagined Saehyun’s face for the last time he could do. Saehyun’s face, Saehyun’s smile, Saehyun’s tears, all of them filled Myungsoo’s mind.

He didn’t care what would happen to him anymore.

 

I’m sorry, Saehyun a. I cannot fulfil our wish together. Be happy and live well.

 

At the next second, Myungsoo already lied on the ground with a tears fell down from the closed eyes.

Saehyun stared blankly at the fresh grave in front of her. She wear the last time dress Myungsoo bought for her. No trace of tears on her face. Her tears already dried until nothing would come out even when she pushed it.

She stared at Myungsoo’s photo and the word that created Myungsoo’s name on the grave.

 

“Myungsoo ya, I’ll protect my self well. You don’t need to worry me. These all were my fault for being hopelessly weak. That’s why you always tried to protect me no matter how hard it was.” She whispered softly on the grave.

 

Saehyun heard what Myungsoo’s last words.

That’s the way Saehyun awore what Myungsoo’s want from her.

Saehyun stood on there with weakling knees.

“Sir, what did the accused Kim Myungsoo last word? Did he apologized to the victim’s family? Did he regret his doing?”

The journalist crowded the police commissioner when he was out.

 

The police shook his head and said. “No, he didn’t say those. He just said ‘This is what I got for protecting Saehyun and my self.’”

 

Saehyun hit by those last words. Protecting me. Saehyun was reminded by the last letter and moment with Myungsoo.

“What is mean?”

 

“This suspect, Kim Myungsoo is a cold hearted person. Even he could kill a person just because a feather was fallen. He killed without reason.”

 

The Journalists was buzzing among them. Jimin also heard that. Suddenly a wave of anger hit her. She marched toward the crowd.

 

“He is not a cold hearted person!” Saehyun screamed at the police.

“What did you mean, Agassi. And who are you, how can you be here?” The police was startled. The journalist also buzzed around to speculate who was the lady in front them.

 

“Myungsoo-is-not-cold-hearted-person!” Saehyun surpressed each word she let out while holding inside her anger. “He is the warmest and thoughtful person I ever knew. Far inside the cold mask he always wore and you always saw, there’s always be a weary kind heart. He has a heart that could not dare enough to hurt a person.”

 

Saehyun said while stream of tears fell down on her cheek.

“Are you Saehyun that he said on the last word?”

“He was become like that because of you all, police and society” Saehyun remembered how Myungsoo changed his mind about the way to protecting his self.

 

It was police and society fault. They have been being unjustified to them who didn’t have any parents once they were child. All things were accused to them when there’s something wrong come. Since then, Myungsoo said that he would protect Saehyun and him self as his own way.

 

“What do you mean? Crime is a crime at all. He did murdered that’s why he was accused” The commissioner said.

“You got a happy family after all so they can send you to expertise school and make you as high rank police” Saehyun murmured. “You will never know how was our feeling, since you haven’t experienced it, Sir.”

 

Saehyun took her leave. It made a big buzzing around the journalists. The commissioner was knocked by the sentence.

Saehyun still stood beside the grave.

 

“Thanks for all the love that you gave. I know you don’t want to see my sad face. I’ll live my life as you told. I’ll live happily well while trying to erase every memories of you and me”

 

Saehyun felt her chest hurt so much while saying that. Like something grabbed her heart of out the place forcedly. She squatted down and hugged Myungsoo’s grave for the last time.

 

“I’ll love you forever too, Myungsoo ya”

“Far inside the cold mask he always wore and you always saw, there’s always be a weary kind heart. He has a heart that could not dare enough to hurt a person.”

Yes, it was him, L aka Kim Myungsoo – the two weapon, most wanted fugitive because what he has done 5 years ago. It was wildfire before at Seoul.

Drug dealer, serial killer, and many other criminal cases he did. What most popular from those kind news is his capability using two weapon. Just with two weapons in his hand, he could take down all of his attackers.

He was weary. He was tired of killing.

“This accused, Kim Myungsoo is a cold hearted person. Even he could kill a person just because a feather was fallen. He killed without reason.”

“You will never know how was our feeling, since you haven’t experienced it, Sir.”

“This is what I got for protecting Saehyun and my self.”

Since then, I have made a promise to myself that I will protect and make you happy no matter how hard life is.

Please forget me, Saehyun a. Erase all of our memories together from your mind. Kim Myungsoo, don’t keep in these three words.

Just remember that there’s someone will always love you, Park Saehyun.

I’m sorry that I never said these three words to you.

I'm planning for this but I have no time to typed the story yet. There's many things unfold in this story, right? The answer actually is in the sequel. But if no one want it, I will not post it...

 

Kidding, actually I don't even know how to type the sequel. T.T The sequel genre isn't my type of story. Haha It's a new type for me.
